Loppet Adventure Camp
If you like mountain biking then you’ll love Adventure Camp. Kids ages 9-13 will develop and improve their mountain biking skills in addition to learning a variety of other outdoor sports including orienteering, roller skiing, canoeing, and capture the flag.

Farview Mountain Bike Team
The Farview Mountain Bike team is a run in partnership with Farview Recreation Center, run by the Minneapolis Park Board. The team is made up of kids from the Folwell neighborhood in north Minneapolis who sign up for the team at Farview Park. Farview provides transportation for the kids from the recreation center to Theodore Wirth twice a week for practice. Kids work throughout the season to develop their bike skills and compete in local mountain bike races.
- The team meets from June through September.
- Limit to 10 bikers.
Biking Birthday Parties
Book a birthday party with Trips for Kids. Trips for Kids is now offering mountain biking trips for private parties. Rides meet at Theodore Wirth Park and include instruction by Trips for Kids bike coaches and a ride on Wirth’s mountain bike trails.
